Description
The Harrisburg covered bridge located in Sevier county was built by Elbert Stephenson early 1875 and restored in 1972. I love to find these historic sites & wish I had the time to find some more.

Gorgeous, I love that you captured the shadows from the trees. Covered bridges are such a wonderful piece of history.

I have such a deep love for covered bridges, that I swear, something VERY nice must have happened to me on (in?) one in my previous life!!! Great find and capture, George ... I think you must have captured this beauty at my favorite time of year ... very, very early spring ... when the grass is greening up and the trees, which are just starting to show their return to life cast the most wonderful and intricate shadows. Very, very lovely image!!! l/f and t

Good morning Mr. George, This lovely shot reminds me of the novel, The Bridges Of Madison County which was made into a movie some time in the mid 1990s starring Clint Eastwood and Merryl Streep. It's one of the most beautiful love stories I've ever read. It's one of those gripping stories that you simply can't put down once you start reading it.

Thank you for sharing Bijan. I saw the movie ,and it is great flick with 2 legendary actors.
