Description
The Ave Maria Oratory is in the center of the Ave Maria University. Tom Monoghan founder of Domino's Pizza was the President of Ave Maria University at the time. Tom is fascinated with the interest of Architecture for over 50 years, and did the 1st sketches of the church on a tablecloth.One of the Oratory's most distinctive characteristics is it's steel structure. The landmark church recieved an architectural award from the American Institute of Steel Construction in 2008.
